The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to join a cutting edge real-time visualization studio as a junior member! We are
looking for a Junior 3d Visualization Designer with specialization in Unreal and 3d Max to join our dynamic team! We are looking for a full-time hire or a contract engagement that could become a full-time position; availability of full-time position dependent on candidate fit.
This opportunity would be a fantastic fit for an Architecture- or Interior Design-trained individual with a strong portfolio of 3d competency, who wants to be part of a leading arch-viz office pushing the forefront of real-time deployment.
About the Role
As a junior member of our team, you will be key to supporting all members of our team, including the CEO, in a fast environment, in which you must be comfortable wearing multiple hats and handle shifting priorities.
Your immediate tasks hitting the ground would include the following:
- Operate as the foundation of production team by constructing, texturing, lighting, and optimizing
digital 3d worlds for interactive applications and visualizations. - Deliver as a professional in 3d Software [3dMax, Unreal, and Vray] and post-production software
[Photoshop and After Effects]. - Translate technical models and information from architects and other design trades into 3d models.
- Project management including creating presentations in InDesign and client coordination.
- Create quick and visually-compelling designs for place-making (ex. landscape, public realm, and retail).
- Contribute to daily team and client meetings, effectively communicating progress and vision.
- Keep a positive and team-based outlook
Qualifications and Experience
Individual should have the following experience:
- Bachelors’ Degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or related design field.
- 0-2years working experience in architecture, interior design, or other design-related field – new graduates are welcome!
- A stand-out ability to create 3d models and visualizations of large architectural places.
- Our team uses primarily 3d Studio Max, VRay, and Unreal – please note experience in these software programs as proficiency in them is strongly preferred but not required.
- Background in programming or Unreal Blueprints scripting a big plus
- Demonstrated understanding of architectural design principles and ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, plans, and 3d models.
- Please also highlight experience in any of the following skills:
- 3d Modeling Software (Rhino/Revit/Sketch-Up)
- Rendering Software
- Graphic Design Software (Adobe Products -please specify)
- Programming (C++ / Python)
- Web Development
- VR/AR
- We encourage sharing your Instagram or other creative outlet.
- Available for in-office work at our New York City office. We offer hybrid work arrangements but this
position requires being in the office at least 3-4 days per week depending on project and office needs.
